ONE FAMILY - ONE PLAN

The Safe Schools/Healthy Students initiative is a collaborative partnership between the Muskegon Public Schools, City of Muskegon Police Department, 14th Circuit Court of Muskegon County-Family Division, Community Mental Health Services of Muskegon county and the Department of Human Services of Muskegon County, designed to prevent violence and substance abuse in our youth schools and community.
This imitative is supported through a unique Federal grant program, partnering the US Department of Education, the US Department of Health and Human Services, and the US Department of justice focusing on the following 5 elements:
- Safe school environments and violence prevention activities
- Alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention actives
- Student behavioral, social and emotional supports
- Mental health services
- Early childhood social and emotional learning programs
