Grade Level Content Expectations
ELA Pacing Guide (plan of instruction)

   Advanced ELA
   Advanced ELA would follow the regular MPS curriculum for that grade level
   with special attention to extending themes and concepts and more in-depth
   and independent work on the part of students. Additional literature to be found
in the McDougal Literacy Connections.

Focus on ELA
The regular MPS curriculum is used for that grade level but is focused on the
weak skills of any particular class. Materials to be used are from McDougal
   Literacy Connections and supplemental materials from SIM and SOAR.

Advanced Math
Advanced Math would follow the regular MPS curriculum for that grade level
with special attention to extending mathematic concepts and more in-depth
and independent work on the part of students. Additional support materials to
be found in the Connected Math Program.

weak skills of any particular class. Materials to be used are from the
Connected Math Program and supplemental materials from Hands-On
Equations.
